Install or host Odoo
An Odoo instance is not only Odoo: it is a server to keep up to date, backups to check and access to protect.
What it covers
Installation on your server or with a hosting provider
Automatic backups, and restoring them
Updates of Odoo and of your modules
Security: HTTPS, firewall, blocking of intrusion attempts
How I go about it
-
Choose the hosting
Together, according to the size of the instance, the budget and your constraints.
-
Install
Odoo in Docker containers, with a configuration written in a repository rather than done by hand.
-
Secure
HTTPS, restricted access, daily backups, automatic banning of attacks.
-
Document
Updating and restoring, so that they can be done without me.
What you receive
- A running instance, over HTTPS
- Its configuration and procedures, in your repository
- Daily backups and how to restore them
Frequently asked questions
Where should Odoo be hosted?
On a server of yours, with a hosting provider or in the cloud: the choice depends on the size of the instance, the budget and your constraints, and is made together.
Are the backups checked?
A backup is only worth something if it restores: the restore procedure is part of the delivery.
What about Odoo.sh?
Odoo.sh, Odoo SA’s hosting, suits many instances: I can also deploy your modules there.
An instance to install or take over?
Describe it in a few lines: I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Other services
-
Develop a custom Odoo module
Custom modules: models, screens, reports and automations, so that Odoo follows your processes rather than the other way round.
-
Migrate Odoo to a newer version
Without losing your data or your developments: analysis of the existing setup, migration scripts, rehearsal on a copy before the switchover.
-
Integrate Odoo with your other software
Through APIs, EDI or files, so that nobody types the same information twice.
